Chromebooks generally have a pretty good reputation for being affordable, but it seems that Samsung could have something that’s even more affordable. This will come in the form of a new Chromebook that the company is calling the Galaxy Chromebook Go, which based on its specs would suggest that this will be easy on your wallet.

The computer in question will be powered by an Intel celeron Processor N4500 and will feature integrated Intel graphics, 4GB/8GB of RAM, up to128GB of storage, and will support WiFi, Bluetooth, and even LTE if you need that extra bit of connectivity. It also sports a 14-inch TFT display, although its resolution is at a very low 1366×768, which is very disappointing considering the age we are living in.

However, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing because lower-end specs probably means a more affordable price tag. Obviously if you’re going to be shopping on a budget, then you can’t expect to have the best possible hardware, so this is more of a laptop aimed at those who are on a budget, need a backup computer, or just need something cheap for work or school.

This doesn’t mean that this is a bad laptop by any means, but given its specs, you should manage your expectations accordingly. Samsung has yet to officially announce the availability or actual pricing, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
