One of the features Apple introduced in iOS 15 is called SharePlay. As the name implies, this lets users share certain features of iOS with others so that they can enjoy content together, whether it be screensharing, streaming music together, and so on.

The good news is that if you and your friends enjoy watching Twitch streams together, you’ll be pleased to learn that Twitch has announced that the app for the iPhone and iPad will now support SharePlay. This means that users with iOS devices will be able to watch streams together while on FaceTime calls, so you can talk to each other in real time, see each other’s reactions, and so on.

According to Twitch, it will support up to 32 participants at any given time, which is the same number as FaceTime group calls. All users will need to have the Twitch app installed and also have a Twitch account, so make sure your friends all have their accounts setup and ready to go before you start.

While watching a stream, users will also be able to do what they might normally do while watching a Twitch stream, such as chat with other viewers in the stream, subscribe, cheer with Bits, and so on.
