Back in 2020, Lenovo took the wraps off their Smart Frame. This is essentially a display designed to look like a photo/picture frame that will let you upload photos to it so that it can be displayed. This is useful if you can’t decide on a photo or piece of art to hang on your wall and want to be able to switch it out when you need.
At CES 2022, Lenovo announced that they will be pushing out a software update for the Smart Frame in the first quarter of 2022. With this software update, Lenovo says that users will be able to support photos from Instagram, which means that if you typically upload your photos to Instagram, you’ll be able to display them in the Smart Frame.
This might actually be quite a useful feature, especially if you’re a photographer or artist and you want a way to showcase your work. It could even be useful for art gallery owners or restaurant owners who might be able to use these frames to show off photos that might have been posted by their customers, or have an ever-changing gallery to help keep things dynamic.
Lenovo had previously launched the Smart Frame on Indiegogo back in 2020 and it is currently available for purchase in North America and Australia.
