Not all chargers were built equally. When you look at chargers for laptops, phones, smartwatches, and so on, you might usually pay attention to the power it can output, which is fair because obviously a higher output usually means that your devices can charge faster, so that’s reasonable.

However, you might soon want to start paying attention to whether or not they are GaN chargers. This is because GaN chargers have the advantage of being smaller and more efficient, and if you are interested in this tech, Razer has actually unveiled a new 130W GaN charger at E3 2021.

The charger measures 3.2 x 7.7 x 6.2mm, making it small enough to fit inside of a pocket. However, don’t let its size fool you as it is capable of charging two USB-C devices at 100W, and another two USB-A devices at 18W each. It comes with foldable prongs and Razer has also bundled a bunch of international adapters so that you can use it while traveling overseas.

Unfortunately though, this charger does not come cheap. Razer is selling it at a whopping $180, making it considerably more expensive than some of the competition, but at the same time it does offer 130W of power, so that’s the trade-off.
